For inquisitive people with a mind for number-crunching and a passion for building great relationships, the Finance Graduate Leadership Programme is the perfect place to start an accountancy career with an industry leader*.

Lloyds Banking Group has a relationship with just about every household and community in the UK through brands like Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. Our industry is transforming and, as the largest provider of digital products in the UK, we’re operating at the forefront of these changes. As the numbers experts, our Finance teams are involved in almost every decision across the business. They turn complex figures into simple concepts and impact every element of our organisation – from customer satisfaction to sales growth.

On this three-year rotational programme, you’ll discover new depths in your strengths and interests. You’ll work across different cities in the UK, and gain all the tools and experience necessary to one day become a leader of a financial organisation of the future.

Join us, and over three years you’ll learn a lot about our business and how you can help Britain prosper. Most importantly, we’ll empower you to learn more about yourself, and how you can develop a career around your passions.

You’ll complete four placements in various locations around the UK. Three of these will be within Finance where you’ll learn about our critical functions, including preparing vital management information to inform business decisions, statutory reporting, treasury and balance sheet management, tax and change management. And one of these placements will be in a function outside of Finance, for example within our digital technology team, or one of our branches or operational centres. Through these placements you’ll gain a sense of the breadth of our organisation, and the scope of development opportunities on offer to you. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification such as CIMA or ACA. And, you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

By the end of the programme you’ll have a clear understanding of our critical contribution to transforming an industry, and how we’ll support you to make a positive impact, in your own way.

*We have a Finance Graduate Leadership Programme based solely in Scotland. The programme follows a similar format, but all placements are based in Edinburgh and you will study for an ICAS professional qualification. To apply for this role, select Finance (Scotland) on the programme list on the application page.
